Who We Help
We have helped more than 55,000 individuals get to the root of their struggles and achieve lasting improvements in the following areas.
Focus & Attention
Navigating challenges with your child's attention and focus can be perplexing. The capacity to focus and sustain attention is a product of development. As a child's development matures, so does their ability to concentrate and pay attention, influencing both academic performance and social interactions. However, if there are developmental gaps, a child might find it challenging to stay attentive, leading to difficulties in retaining academic information. We understand the importance of addressing these concerns and are here to provide support and solutions for your child's development.
Anxiety & Stress
We've all encountered stress and anxiety, but our bodies don't always respond in the same manner. Achieving optimal brain function is key to cultivating resilience. The ability to build resilience stems from optimal brain development. As a child's development matures, so does their capacity to be flexible and navigate stressful situations, impacting various aspects of life. However, if there are developmental gaps, a child might struggle in stressful situations, respond inappropriately and have “greater than responses” hindering their problem-solving abilities. Enhancing brain function can pave the way for improved stress management and emotional regulation, ensuring your child is better equipped to face life's challenges.
Sensory Processing
Does your child find it difficult to ignore noises, react strongly to minor inconveniences like sticky fingers, or have trouble remembering sight words they should have mastered? If this sounds familiar, your child might be displaying symptoms of a processing disorder or have an increased sensitivity to sensory inputs. Discovering that your child is dealing with a sensory processing disorder means they are facing a hurdle in effectively using information gathered by their senses. When the brain encounters difficulties in processing auditory, visual, and sensory information, it can impact your child's learning and overall growth. The comforting news, however, is that there are ways to enhance and improve these sensory and processing pathways in the brain.
Motivation & Organization
Are you recognizing signs of disorganization, impulsiveness, a lack of initiative, and challenges in completing tasks in your child or young adult? The impact of motivation and organization reaches into various aspects of life. When a child or young adult encounters difficulties in these areas, it poses a substantial risk to their ability to step into independence and sustain themselves. Optimal brain connectivity is vital for effectively planning and following through on everyday tasks. The key set of skills required for this is known as executive function. This set of skills is crucial for both classroom behavior and learning, which is why many kids find challenges in both areas.
Learning & Academics
Is your child facing challenges in their learning journey? Do they study hard for a test only to struggle with the actual exam? Is your child finding it challenging to complete homework assignments and grasp the overall understanding of the material? These struggles often stem from weaknesses in the brain's ability to receive, process, store, respond to, and communicate information. These factors significantly impact a child's capacity to thrive in a learning environment. The good news is that by enhancing connectivity in the brain through targeted sensory-motor and cognitive exercises, we can make strides in improving learning and academic success.
Hyperactivity & Impulsivity
Impulsivity in children can vary with age and may also indicate various mental health conditions, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). When left unaddressed, it can have repercussions on academic performance and social skills. As children grow older, the consequences of impulsivity can become more significant and even life-threatening. The ability to control impulsivity is a result of optimal brain development. As a child's development progresses, so does their capacity to manage impulsivity by being calm and methodical, influencing both academic performance and social interactions. However, if there are developmental gaps, a child might find it challenging to meet expectations, leading to difficulties at school and in social situations. We recognize the importance of addressing these concerns and are here to offer support and solutions for your child's development.
Behavior & Mood
Dealing with your child's public meltdowns and social withdrawal can be isolating, but you're not alone. Many parents feel trapped by their child's emotional outbursts and adolescents' anger or depression. At Brain Balance, we understand that emotional regulation is linked to brain development. Developmental gaps can lead to a child's difficulty in handling stress, affecting their social and emotional well-being. By focusing on improving brain function, we aim to bridge these gaps, helping your child manage stress and emotions more effectively. Join us and other families in transforming your child's ability to navigate life's challenges successfully.
Social & Relationships
Beyond ordinary shyness, social anxiety is a profound challenge that hinders kids and teens from fostering meaningful friendships. Social hurdles often stem from developmental gaps, impacting a child's ability to read cues, gain confidence in friendships, and navigate social nuances. At each age, there should be ongoing social and emotional development. If your child's developmental functioning feels misaligned with their chronological age, it may be linked to underdevelopment in the brain. Closing these gaps is essential to circumventing challenges like social anxiety and inappropriate responses in diverse situations. Strengthening brain connectivity opens doors to improved social-emotional development, empowering your child for success, enhancing their friendship-building skills, and fostering a happier life.

Stories from Brain Balance Center of Roswell
"Our 12-year-old son was diagnosed with high functioning autism. We had been to the Marcus Institute, the Buice Center, speech therapy, and years of private tutoring. After attending Brain Balance he is much calmer and now plays with other kids. We have also seen a big improvement in oral communication."
"Our family has had a lot of stress because of our son’s defiant attitude and emotional outbursts which had become uncontrollable the past few years. Because of your program and the recommended nutritional changes, he is now happier, more responsible, more loving, and his school work, especially reading has greatly improved in just a month’s time. Now, he is much more pleasant to others and more confident in himself."
"As a parent and educator: My son was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder and had academic delays in Math Reasoning, Written Expression, and Reading Comprehension. After attending three months of the program, my son’s academics increased significantly and I attribute this success solely to Brain Balance! Our home life is filled with joy, because my son is not struggling to get his homework completed each evening!"

Brain Balance does not require that a child has a medical diagnosis, nor do we clinically diagnose medical conditions. Our focus is on understanding the struggles these children experience and helping them develop and strengthen the connections to help reduce those struggles.
For those who do have a diagnosis,1 research has shown that the unique challenges your child is facing can be linked to weak connections across different regions of the brain.
Get a deeper view into why your child struggles
The Brain Balance assessment provides you with a deeper view of your child’s struggles. During the assessment, your child’s sensory, motor and cognitive development are evaluated. This assessment helps identify areas of development that need strengthening. The reasons why a child may excel in some areas but has trouble in others will become clearer. From the results, we create a plan that helps your child overcome their struggles.
