Our Brain Balance center did go into our school and talk to them, because our school team was in shock. They said they've never seen such a jump in self-esteem, focus, fine motor skills. Her handwriting is absolutely beautiful now.
On an academic level, Ella was diagnosed with dyslexia. Her self-esteem was very low. She tended to cry a lot. She felt different from the other kids that they were all able to read. She felt she wasn’t adequate or full whatever reading. She felt she was smart enough but still could not do the work, so was frustrated.
To have a free consultation and learn about the Brain Balance Program is phenomenal. We did and the minute we met the group at Brain Balance, it was always a yes. It was the very first time we heard an explanation and a solution for something that we didn’t even know how to ask the question or to explain.
She went from being on a recreation soccer team of kicking and screaming to get off the couch and go to soccer practice to begging us to be on an academy team that has twice as many practices and is more competitive. When my parents would see her on weekends, my mother pulled me aside and said, “Wow, she has really matured.” Everyone says the universal response was, she seems so happy, that seems very like at peace. The tension is gone from our household. It was the single most life-changing thing our entire family has ever gone through.
In June we have a little girl, and in September after a summer in Brain Balance, it’s like we had the best parts of her delivered back to us and someone took away the unexplainable. I constantly told our Brain Balance if I could change anything in the world, I would have done this sooner. I wish I could get that time back. I wish if we had known about this and knew that she could benefit it from this at age three or four years old, we’re grateful that we got there and went through it. If we could have done it sooner it would have just changed our life so much sooner.
