Throughout high school, I struggled immensely when it came to academics. I found myself sitting in class wondering how the other students were engaged and asking questions while I barely knew what the teacher was talking about. I was envious of the students who seemed to absorb the information so seamlessly. I was able to pass my classes through take-home assignment grades, classwork, and extra credit, but when tests came around, I choked. As a senior getting ready to leave for college, I knew something had to change since exam scores weigh much heavier in college-level grading. Fortunately, I found Brain Balance.
When I first started Brain Balance, I felt inferior and had no self-confidence. But, as the months went by, I knew there were changes happening within me. It wasn’t until I was sitting in a college class freshman year when I realized I was actually comprehending what the professor was teaching. My focus improved and my study skills became much more efficient. I was genuinely excited to learn new things and I still am to this day. I feel confident in the classroom and in life. I went from being a C student to a current straight-A student. I am currently pursuing a Psychology degree, and I couldn’t be more grateful to the Brain Balance program for helping me achieve not only my academic goals but to feel more empowered and confident in everyday life.
